Construction Review

As design engineers and consultants, we are the first arbiters of the technical specifications. That means it is our duty to review the work in progress in accordance with the requirements of the building code and professional association guidelines.

Once simply categorized as "Inspection", construction review has taken on new dimensions and requires the insight of professionals to determine if the technical requirements are being met. To do this, we perform either periodic or resident review as required by the nature of the work. We examine shop design submissions by other professionals for compliance with the technical specifications; establish testing requirements and assess testing reports; maintain a record of acceptable and unacceptable work and defect correction; and design and issue changes to the technical specifications as made necessary by the work in progress.
